Jamielyn Lippman

Director/Producer/Writer

Jamielyn has been passionate about filmmaking and storytelling since childhood. Raised in Valencia, CA., she started performing in nationally televised commercials and local theater at the age of seven. After graduating high school, Lippman headed to Hollywood. Her first appearance was in "Boogie Nights'' opposite Burt Reynolds and Oscar winners Julianne Moore and Philip Seymour Hoffman. She guest starred on TV shows such as "The Drew Carey Show" as well as numerous independent films. Her love for the art of filmmaking developed into a desire to further her career by stepping behind the camera.

In 2001, Lippman attended LACC's well-known film program. After successful completion of her film school training, Lippman spent the next few years writing, directing and producing dozens of short films as well as penning numerous feature-length screenplays.

In 2006, she directed and produced her first feature-length documentary, "Die Trying" which focused on the underlying determination to be an actor in Hollywood and featured such talent as Amanda Fuller (Last Man Standing), Michael Biehn (The Terminator), and scream queen Danielle Harris (Rob Zombie's Halloween)

"When The Bough Breaks" is a Point Of View Pictures production which she owns and operates.

Lippman is currently directing and producing the documentary "3 Years in Pakistan: The Erik Aude Story" which follows the life-changing journey of an actor who was duped into drug smuggling and spent three years in the most dangerous prison in Pakistan. She is also developing a feature length film based on this same story entitled "The Price of Pride". Jamielyn has several other documentaries and features in development.


Tanya Newbould

Producer

Tanya Newbould is an American actress born in Manchester, England. She was adopted in England. She and her family moved to Michigan as an infant until she was 21.

With a desire to be in the entertainment field, Tanya moved to Los Angeles and began modeling and competing in the pageant world. She held the titles of Miss Newport Beach, Miss Hollywood, 1st runner up in Miss California as well as Miss Southern California and 3rd runner up to Ms. United States. Tanya’s next step was to parlay her experience into the entertainment industry where she diligently studied the dramatic arts.

With 18 films to her credit such as “Family Man” with Nicolas Cage, “Rush Hour 2” with Jackie Chan, “Red Dragon” with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Edward Norton, as well as “X-Men: The Last Stand”. All were directed by Brett Ratner who also Executive Produced “Skyline” which she loved shooting. She continues her acting career today as well as a Public Speaker.

Tanya was asked by Jamielyn Lippman to be interviewed for the documentary “Die Trying” which Lippman had created, produced and directed.. Tanya was so impressed with Jamielyn that she shared her struggles about Postpartum Depression and how she couldn’t find help. She felt strongly that there needed to be a documentary about this prevalent subject and asked Lippman to Produce it with her and be the director.

Tanya is also an L.A. based jewelry designer under her married name Del Pozzo Designs. Her jewelry line is unique, one of a kind and always evolving. Tanya uses precious, semi precious stones, gorgeous pearls, gold and silver.


Lindsay Gerszt

Producer, Executive Producer

Jamielyn Lippman is the director/producer of “When the Bough Breaks” about postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. Executive Produced by Brooke Shields. The film was distributed in 2016 by Gravitas Ventures and acquired by Netflix. 

She directed and produced the documentary “3 Years in Pakistan: The Erik Aude Story” The film was distributed by Gravitas and was released at Laemmle’s NoHo on September 28th, 2018. The film is on VOD nationwide and is recommended as “films to watch” on Paramount +

She wrote & directed “Hollywood Trick” about the seedy underbelly of Hollywood and “The Blonde Bombshell” about the last 24 hours of Marilyn’s Monroe’s life and conspiracy of the Kennedys murdering her. 

Jamielyn wrote and directed “Revelation” the story of Jacob (30’s) a devout Mormon who must face his truth that he can no longer hide is homosexuality. 

Lippman wrote the feature film “Hollywood Gamble” and has attached actors Luke Brandon Field (JoJo Rabbit) and Vincent Pastore (The Sopranos, Goodfellas) a mob chase film about two girls trying to get a movie made. 

Lippman is currently in pre-production on the feature “Mating in Captivity” which she adapted and will direct about a 1970’s sex cult. 

She has several films in development including “Paddywacked” set in the 1960’s about 5 teenage boys growing up on the tough streets of south Boston.

Lippman owns Point Of View Pictures which is a production and distribution company. She is a member of The Film Fatales, The AWDand Free the Work. She is a single mother and lives in Sherman Oaks with her two teenage daughters Olivia and Jordan.
